Seidel-positive corneal laceration
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Seidel test is used to assess for full-thickness corneal lacerations or open-globe injury, often in the setting of trauma. A 19-year-old man presented emergently at Mass Eye and Ear after a screw fell on his eye. On examination, there was a 1 mm corneal laceration. The video shows an example of a briskly positive Seidel test without provocation.
